Commander's Message:

I would like to apologize to everyone for my lack of communication to you. In January, I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre' Syndrome and I been working hard to recover my strength and balance. I have recovered some of it, however it is unbelievable how fast it was lost and how much work and time it takes to regain, just a portion.

We had a great Spring Convention in Llano. There was a very good "turn out" and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. I wish to thank Allyn and Carla Rub along with their membership, the citizens and the Mayor of Llano for showing us such a warm and welcome time. Maybe we'll get a chance to have another one there before too long. The next District Convention will be hosted by Post 479 in Uvalde; October 9th and 10th; I think. It will be posted on this website later. The Division and Department dates can also be found on this same website. All this information and the website comes to you, by way of the 21st District Webmaster, Bill Brown, so thank you Bill.

I want to thank all the Posts for their hard work on membership. The 21st District is in respectable 13th position out of the 23 Districts. Times are hard on everyone and it's been hard on all organizations. I would still like to visit each Post -------- so, if you can find it in your heart, please contact me at 830-370-9157.
